Who We Are

Family Worship Center is a Pentecostal church with the Assemblies of God.

Pastor Cline and his wife Pauline started the church with God’s leading and guidance in January of 1980 in their home. The church started out as Jubilee Tabernacle and was non-denominational. In March 1980 we moved into our first building on 27th and Olive street in St. Joseph. Seeing a need in our community for those without food, we started a food pantry called Joseph Storehouse. Joseph Storehouse now serves over a 100 families a week in both Andrew and Buchanan County. In 1994 we joined the Assemblies of God denomination and adopted the 16 fundamental truths as our doctrine. We continued to grow and moved into our current building on John Glenn Road in 1996. At that time we also changed our name to St. Joseph Family Worship Center. God has continued to show His faithfulness and favor as we strive to reach our community with the saving message of Jesus Christ. We pray all who join us see the love of God, experience the saving redemptive grace of Jesus Christ, embrace the presence of the Holy Spirit, and feel the joy and comfort of being in the family of God.
